XX Commonwealth Games officials announced the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Sports List.  There are 17 sports events and total of 261 medal events will be contested at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Ten days for these completion list will be held in Glasgow about five venues and scheduled between 23rd July 2014 and 3rd August 2014.

List of 2014 Commonwealth Games Sports Events

  • Aquatics - Swimming, Diving
  • Athletics - Track, Field, Marathon
  • Badminton - Singles and Doubles for both men and women, Mixed Doubles
  • Boxing - up to 13 weight categories
  • Cycling - Mountain bike, Road, Track
  • Gymnastics - Artistic and Rhythmic
  • Hockey - Team for both Men and Women
  • Judo - 14 Weight Categories
  • Lawn Bowls - men and women singles, pairs, triples and fours
  • Netball - Women Team only
  • Rugby Sevens - Men Team only
  • Shooting - Cly target, Full bore, Pistol and Small bore
  • Squash - Both men and women singles and doubles, Mixed doubles
  • Table Tennis - singles and doubles for both gender
